Intermediate : First division with distinction in Chemistry from U.P Board in 1957. 3. B.Sc : First division with eighth position in order of merit from Allahabad University in 1959. 4. M.Sc (Mathematics) : First division with Fourth Position in order of merit from Allahabad University in 1961. 5. Ph.D (Mathematics) : From Banaras Hindu University in 1967. Field of Specialization Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer (Applied Mathematics) Scholarship and Fellowships Awards 1. Merit scholarships from High School through M.Sc. 2. Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship for two years of the University Grants Commission; worked under the supervision of internationally known mathematician (Late Prof. P.L.Bhatnagar). Publications Seventy eight (78) Research papers in various international journals of repute; many of them reviewed and commended in applied Mechanics Review, U.S.A by eminent scientists; incidentally I am also on the Board of Reviewers for Applied Mechanics Review. Delivered Lectures on "Recent Advances in Fluid Mechanics", "Perturbation Methods", etc. in various Universities and Research Centres. 5. University Grant commission National Lecturer during 1985-86. Research Guiding Experience 1. Twelve students awarded M.Phil Degree. 2. Eighteen students awarded Ph.D Degree.

                 Over and above all this, Prof. Singh is a renowned educationist and through-out his long career as an ideal teacher, he  reflected the glory of the pure Self through his perfected personality and deep learning tempered with spiritual enlightenment  and humility. His winning charms and rational approach to religious faiths and practices with the pride of indomitable courage and conviction impress every one who happens to come in his contact. His exemplary personal life with ascetic austerity and sainthy simplicity in spite of amazing depth of spiritual wisdom and heights  of discerning  intellectual excellence disarm even those who are temperamentally hostile to religious pursuits. So much so, his boundless Love and hearty yearning for selfless  service  to the disable humanity as a Vice-Chancellor of  this University beggar all  descriptions. The whole credit goes to extremely religious and Philanthropic family background of Dr. Singh's early childhood and the generous nature of his parents with deep love for the down trodden people and their devotion to charitable social activities for the upliftment of poor persons. However, the most powerful influence on the mind of Prof. Singh is that of his matchless prodigious Diksha Gurudev, Anantanant Shri Samlankrit Shri Shri 1008 Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj, the present life-long Chancellor of this University, whose hearty blessings and causeless mercy are always raining on him, eversince the year of his formal initiation to His Excellency's Gurudev's Lotus feet, in the year as back as 1973.
