The centre for Distance Education provides facility to persons with disability for pursuing higher education through distance mode. Distance mode is very helpful to upgrade the knowledge and skill of persons with disabilities, because of their limited mobility. The Distance Education Council, IGNOU, New Delhi vide its letter no. F.No./DEC/Recog./JRBHU/2006/1434 Dated 31/07/2006 has recognized following programmes, currently offered by the university in distance mode, through its various centres. The programme is open only for persons with disabilities. |
